    Program Requirements
    Online application and application fee, Official transcripts, Personal Statement, Resume, 3 Letters of Recommendation

    If you have completed education outside of the U.S.:
    An official translated evaluation of all transcripts is required to be sent to the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions. International transcript evaluation services can be found by visiting the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) website https://www.naces.org/members. Transcripts must be evaluated and certified for authenticity and U.S. equivalency.

    If applying as an international student, please reference the Graduate Admissions site for more information relating to TOEFL/IELTS requirements, financial documentation, etc.
    Test Requirements
    GRE General. GRE exemptions include completing your undergraduate work at Rutgers University, or completing undergraduate work more than five years ago. Other exceptions may apply.

    Your personal statement should be the length of a 1-2 page double-spaced document. Tell us about yourself, as well as what you hope to gain from the program and your future goals.

    Concentrations & Certificates

    MLER students can boost their resumes by adding a concentration or stand-alone certificate in one of the following areas after enrolling in the program: Conflict Resolution and Negotiation; Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace; Strategic Human Resource Management; Leading Organizational Change; Public Sector Labor- Management Relations; Workers' Rights and Employment Law

    Personal Statement Instructions

    A Personal Statement specifying your past experiences, reasons for applying, and your professional areas of interest. It should explain your intellectual and personal goals, why you are interested in pursuing this degree, and how this degree fits into your intellectual and personal future.
