    Program Requirements

    All Mason Gross applicants are required to complete two applications, the Rutgers University application and the Mason Gross supplemental application. The Mason Gross supplemental application is emailed to applicants after submitting the Rutgers University application.


    Applicants to the composition program should submit the Rutgers University application by December 1 and the Mason Gross supplemental application with prescreening by December 15.


    Applicants to the musicology or music theory program should submit the Rutgers University application by January 1 and the Mason Gross supplemental application by January 15.

    Program Requirements
    3 professional letters of reference supporting the applicant's ability to succeed in the program (2 must be from PhD-prepared academicians); Baccalaureate and Master's degree in nursing (or related field) or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from a nationally accredited program with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 (where A=4.0) submit official transcripts); Proof of RN licensure; Personal interview; Resume or Curriculum Vitae; Completion of three essay questions. In addition, international applicants must also submit an official transcript review by WES or CGFNS, official results of IELTS, and official TOEFL scores.

We offer a Masters of Science (MS) in 3 tracks: dietetics-ISPP leading to the RDN credential, applied/community, and biochem/physiology. We have two tracks of graduate study: Nutritional Biochemistry and Physiology (includes clinical/translational research) and Community/Applied Nutrition (nutrition education and communication, and epidemiology).
