Program Requirements
* MA degree in a related field is preferable
* One personal statement (written in either English or Spanish)
* Curriculum vitae
* Transcripts from all universities, both undergraduate and graduate
* Three letters of recommendation from former professors
* Writing sample (no more than 20 pages)
Test Requirements
The GRE is recommended but not required. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores required for international applicants whose undergraduate education was completed in a non-English speaking country.
Personal Statement Instructions
Specify your past experience (studies, academic work, research projects, etc.), reasons for applying, and your area of interest. Include faculty member(s) you are interested in working with and why.
