  • Mason Gross School of the Arts (Graduate)
    Program Requirements

    All Mason Gross applicants are required to complete two applications: the Rutgers University application and the Mason Gross supplemental application. The Mason Gross supplemental application is emailed to applicants after submitting the Rutgers University application.

    Test Requirements

    GRE General. International applicants must complete the TOEFL or IELTS, even if you hold a master's-level degree from a U.S. or other English-speaking country. The only exemptions are for U.S. trained undergraduates and international applicants coming from English-speaking countries with a minimum of 3 years undergraduate education where the mode of instruction was English.

    Resume, Writing Sample (5-8 pages), 3 Letters of Recommendation, Official Transcript, Undergrad GPA minimum of 3.2. The BA/MA offers an early decision deadline of February 1, 2020. Students who apply by this deadline are required to enroll in the BA/MA Track if accepted.
